Elisabeth Assmann (born January 2, 1990 in Greifswald ) is a German agricultural economist and politician ( SPD ).

Life

After completing secondary school in 2006 and high school in 2008, Aßmann completed the voluntary ecological year until 2009 . She then took up a degree in agricultural economics at the University of Neubrandenburg . She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in 2013 and finished her studies with a Master of Science in 2015 . Since April 2015 she has been employed in the private sector as a specialist consultant for animal nutrition, beef / pork, in the field.

Aßmann joined the SPD in 2009 and was chairwoman of a local SPD association from 2012 to 2015. In the state elections in September 2016 , she was elected to the state parliament of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania as a direct candidate for the SPD via constituency 18 (Ludwigslust-Parchim II) . She won the direct mandate with 30.0% of the first votes . Her political focus is agriculture.

Elisabeth Aßmann has two daughters and lives with her partner in Veelböken -Botelsdorf.
