Elisabeth Calmes

Elisabeth Calmes (born July 30, 1947 in Luxembourg ) is a Luxembourg painter .

Life

Calmes first studied interior design at the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Arts Appliqués et des Metiers d'Art (ENSAAMA) and then painting at the Akademie de Port-Royal in Paris . She lives and works in Paris and Luxembourg . Her studio is in Paris and the Dordogne. From 2008 to 2010 she also had a studio in New York City . Since 1987 her works have been exhibited in numerous galleries in Europe and the USA. A number of books of her works have been published.
