Elisabeth Rickal
Elisabeth Rickal (born August 5, 1934 in Essen ) is a German politician ( CDU ).
Life and work
After graduating in 1957, Rickal became a teacher in Essen. In 1973 she moved to Ludwigshafen am Rhein as the principal of the Adolf Diesterweg School in Oggersheim . She was chairman of the Federation of German Catholic Youth and the Rhineland-Palatinate state association of the German Child Protection Association .
politics
In 1974 Rickal was elected to the city council of Ludwigshafen am Rhein, of which she was a member until 1984. From 1977 to 1987 she was district chairwoman of the CDU Ludwigshafen. From 1980 to 1984 she was a member of the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament and was then State Secretary in the Ministry of Culture until 1991 .
