Eberhard Keindorff

Eberhard Keindorff (born February 7, 1902 in Hamburg , † January 24, 1974 in Dießen am Ammersee ) was a German theater actor and screenwriter .

Keindorff made his debut in 1926 at the Stadttheater Königsberg and then worked on stages in Germany, Austria and Czechoslovakia. He also worked as a director and playwright. In 1935 he came to Berlin, where, in addition to his acting work, he wrote film scripts from 1937.

Since August 9, 1941, he was married to the writer Johanna Sibelius . From 1949 he worked regularly with his wife while writing scripts. The duo adapted numerous novels, in addition to which Keindorff and Sibelius wrote mainly comedies, period films and family films.
