Elisabeth Schilling
Elisabeth Schilling (* 1960 in Wilhelmshaven ) is a German SPD politician and a former member of the Hamburg Parliament .
Life and politics
Elisabeth Schilling studied cultural studies at the University of Hamburg . After graduating, she attended a study seminar in the field of media documentation and works as an editorial assistant for a national daily newspaper.
In 1990 she joined the SPD and from 1992 was chairwoman of the Hamburg-Mühlenkamp district ( Hamburg-Nord district ). She is currently deputy chairwoman and delegate to the party congress . From 1993 to 2001 she was a member of the Hamburg Parliament for the SPD ( 15th and 16th electoral periods).
Schilling is a member of the Evangelical Church and the IG Medien .
