Elizabeth Onuah

Elizabeth Onuah (born September 20, 1995 ) is a Nigerian weightlifter .

Career

Onuah won silver at the 2010 Youth and Junior African Championships in Cairo . However, she was tested positive for hydrochlorothiazide and amiloride during the doping control and banned by the world association IMF for two years. After her suspension, she won the gold medal in the class up to 53 kg at the 2015 African Games in Brazzaville . After that she was banned again for amiloride, this time until 2023.
