Elke Warmuth

Elke Warmuth (born December 25, 1949 in Oybin ) is a German mathematician who deals with stochastics and didactics of mathematics .

Live and act

Warmuth studied after graduating from high school in Halle from 1968 to 1973 at the university in Wrocław, Poland . She specialized in the field of stochastics.

In 1973 Warmuth began to work at the Mathematics Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the GDR . In 1986 she moved to the Humboldt University of Berlin , where she has been the Dean of Studies of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences II since 2010.
