Elke from the Moore

Elke aus dem Moore (* 1965 ) is a German art historian and curator .

Career

Elke aus dem Moore studied literature and art studies at the universities of Osnabrück, Zurich and Bochum. From 1999 to 2002 she worked as a curator for contemporary art at the Shedhalle Zurich and from 2003 to 2006 she headed the Künstlerhaus Stuttgart . Elke aus dem Moore was the head of the art department at the Institute for Foreign Cultural Relations , the editor of numerous exhibition catalogs and the two online magazines Nafas and Contemporary And (C &) . As a guest lecturer, she was appointed to several universities in Germany, Great Britain and Switzerland. She is a member of numerous specialist committees and juries, for example (from 2009 to 2013) a member of the jury for the European Future Art Prize .

Since April 2018 Elke aus dem Moore has been the new director of the Akademie Schloss Solitude , taking over from Jean-Baptiste Joly .
