The Elkenrother Weiher is an 8  ha large pond in the course of the Elbe stream near Elkenroth in Rhineland-Palatinate . The Weidenbruch nature reserve borders in the west of the pond .

The origins of the pond go back to several fish ponds laid one behind the other on the upper reaches of the Elbbach from the Middle Ages. Today it is mainly used for fishing.
