Ellinor (Ella) Blixt (* 1983 in Hultsfred ) is a Swedish Indietronic musician and became known as a solo artist under the stage name Bobby Baby . She also works with Frank Schältge on the music project Bobby & Blumm and with Robert Kretzschmar on the music project It's a Musical .

Career

At the age of 12, Blixt was already playing the guitar and composing his own songs. From the age of 15 she played with a few pop bands. In 2002 she moved from her home town of Hultsfred to Malmö and began to record and produce her own compositions with all instruments. In 2005 Blixt took on the stage name Bobby Baby, under which she published her first songs on her homepage. Soon the songs ended up in various blogs and were distributed by the mp3 labels corpid and Dive Records . The English label Red Letter Day Records released their first EP on CD in May 2006 with Loves To Dance . A month later, two songs were released on the Swedish vinyl label Going Places .

In 2006 Blixt met the musician Robert Kretzschmar. The two soon began to compose and record songs together. After Blixt moved from Malmö to Berlin , they started their music project and called it It's a Musical . In spring 2007 they recorded the demo EP The music makes me sick , which made the label Morr Music aware of the duo and signed the two for an album that was released in October 2008 and also called The music makes me sick wore. In summer 2009 the duo went on tour in Germany with Sin Fang Bous and Borko . In 2012, For Years And Years was another long player from It's a Musical.

In Berlin, through Thomas Morr, Blixt met the author, musician and producer Frank Schülle , who had already published his own compositions as FSBlumm at Morr Music. Both decided to make music together as Bobby & Blumm and recorded their debut album Everybody loves .. , which was released in April 2008 , at Morr Music . In 2010 the duo released the album A Little Big , which received good reviews.

On the side, Blixt works with music camps for teenagers in Germany and Sweden, whereby she wants to encourage young musicians to compose, record and perform in front of an audience.
