Morr Music is a Indietronic - record label and was designed by Thomas Morr , 1999 in Berlin founded.

Label history

Thomas Morr worked in 1998 in Landsberg am Lech in Upper Bavaria in the sales department of the Hausmusik label and helped to expand it. In the following year he founded his own label Morr Music, initially supporting house music with existing distribution channels, later Morr helped house music to make new contacts. The first release was in June 1999 the album Poploops for Breakfast by B. Fleischmann. In 2000 the first label compilation followed with Putting the Morr back in Morrissey . In 2001 a sub-label for 7 "singles was founded with A Number of Small Things and a sub-label for collaborations with Sound of a Handshake in 2003. In the following years Morr specialized in electronica formations from Germany, but apart from Indietronic - and IDM - Acts also signed indiefolk bands including some from the UK and Scandinavia.
