Isan (band)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

ISAN (sometimes isan or Isan ) is a two-piece electronica band from Great Britain . The band name originally stood for Integrated Services Analogue Network , alluding to the acronym ISDN , which expresses the band's preference for analog synthesizers .

Robin Saville and Antony Ryan met in Leicester in 1996 and have since released several singles and albums (mainly on the Berlin label Morr Music ). Saville currently lives in Southend-on-Sea , while Ryan, who is also part of the band Seavault , lives near Orrefors , Sweden . Since the band was founded, the two musicians have lived in different parts of Europe, worked separately from one another and cooperated using the internet.
