Orrefors is a place in Nybro municipality in Småland . The place is centrally located in the Kingdom of Crystal and is best known for its glassworks of the same name .

Orrefors is also home to the " Riksglasskolan ", the internationally renowned school for training glassblowers, glass artists and entrepreneurs in this branch. Mostly Scandinavian students study at the school, but the training is open worldwide.

The name Orrefors probably comes from Lake Orranäsasjön and Fors (rapids) . The logo of the Orrefors glassworks , however, shows a black grouse (Swedish "Orre").
