Lali Puna (childlike for Valerie from Pusan ) is a German electro-pop band that was founded in 1998 in Weilheim near Munich by the Korean-born singer and keyboardist Valerie Trebeljahr . Further members are Christoph Brandner (drums) and Christian Heiß (keyboard).
The sound of Lali Puna is characterized by the combination of traditional instruments, experimental samples and Trebeljahr's singing. All albums were released by the Hausmusik and Morr Music labels .
