Ellen Laura Catharina Benediktson (born April 25, 1995 in Limhamn ) is a Swedish singer .

life and career

Ellen Benediktson was born on April 25, 1995 in the Swedish city of Limhamn. She gained notoriety by singing the French contribution L'Enfer et Moi during rehearsals for the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest . The following year she took part in the competition as an artist and reached the finals with the song Songbird . There she took seventh place. In 2015 Benediktson took part again, this time with the song Insomnia . She was fifth in the third semifinals and therefore qualified neither for the Andra Chansen round nor for the final.

Today Benediktson lives in Malmö and is under contract with the Warner Music Sweden label .
