Ellyas Pical (* 24. March 1960 in Saparua , Indonesia ) is a former Indonesian boxers in the super flyweight .

Professional career

On May 5, 1985 he boxed against Ju-Do Chun for the world championship title of the IBF association and won by technical knockout in round 8. He defended this title in the same year against Wayne Mulholland and lost it the following year to César Polanco . However, Pical defeated Polanco in the direct rematch and thereby conquered the IBF world champion again.

In December of the same year he defended this title against Dong-Chun Lee by knockout and lost it at the end of February of the following year to Khaosai Galaxy by technical knockout in the 14th round.

On October 10, 1987 Pical was the third time IBF World Champion when he defeated Tae-Il Chang by split point decision. He defended the belt three times and lost it in October 1989 to Juan Polo Pérez on points.
