Rafael Pedroza

Rafael Pedroza (* 27. March 1955 in Colon , Panama ) is a former Panamanian boxer in the super flyweight .

Professional career

In 1974 he started his professional career successfully. On December 5, 1981 he boxed against Gustavo Ballas for the world championship title of the association WBA and won by split judge decision. However, he lost this belt in his first title defense in April of the following year to Jirō Watanabe on points. After this defeat, Pedroza ended his career.
