Elmar Kolb
Elmar Kolb (born January 7, 1936 in Bad Neustadt an der Saale ; † May 13, 2013 in Tenerife , Spain ) was a German CDU politician .
Kolb is an industrial clerk, mechanical engineer and entrepreneur by profession. He joined the CDU in 1967. On June 10, 1977, he succeeded the resigned MP Norbert Nothhelfer in the German Bundestag . In 1980 Kolb was re-elected to the Bundestag via the Baden-Württemberg state list. In the subsequent elections, 1983 and 1987, he was then able to win the direct mandate in the constituency of Ravensburg - Bodensee , so that he was a member of the German Bundestag from 1977 to 1990 .
