Emídio Silva Falcão Brasileiro (born February 19, 1962 in Irará , Bahia ) is a Brazilian lawyer , university professor and author of scientific and religious works.

Life

Emídio Brasileiro grew up in the small town of Irará in the northeast Brazilian state of Bahia . He is the eldest son of João Falcão de Albuquerque Brasileiro and Jenuci Silva Falcão Brasileiro. As a teenager he turned to spiritualism in the Brazilian form of Kardecism , first in Irará, then from 1978 in Salvador de Bahia . In 1982 he attended courses in electronics and worked as a telecommunications technician for the Embratel company until 1989 .

In 1985 he began to work as a missionary for Spiritism, first at home and later with lectures abroad. In 1986 he moved to Goiânia . Here he studied law at the Universidade Federal de Goiás (UFG) with a focus on educational planning, switched to the private Universidade Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologias in Lisbon for the subject of education and passed his law degree at the private Autonomous University of Lisbon in 2014 with a thesis on O Direito Natural visto à luz da Lei da ação e reação de Isaac Newton , in which he connects natural law with Newton's law of actio and reaction .

He is the author of various textbooks on spiritualism .

Brasileiro is married to Marislei de Sousa Espíndula Brasileiro, a nurse by profession , with whom he has two children. With Marislei he started researching with the help of questionnaires about sex education in schools and the sexual behavior of the population, he was also interested in the world of emotions. After several guest and part-time lectureships, the couple is now (as of 2015) working at the private Universidade Paulista in Goiás. In Goiás he founded a. a. the first spiritistic academy in the country and in 2005 the Academia Goianiense de Letras.
