Emanuel de Jesus R. da Cos Fernandes (born July 25, 1967 in Moçâmedes ) is an Angolan beach volleyball player .

Career

Fernandes competed in two international tournaments in Cape Town and Durban in 1995 and 1996 . In 2007 he formed a duo with Morais Abreu and played on the FIVB World Tour . At the appearances this year, the two Angolans came in 41st place. In 2008 they also competed in some Grand Slams. They reached 25th place at the Marseille Open. They qualified for the Beijing Olympics . There they had to compete in their group games against the two duos who later played for the bronze medal. Fernandes / Abreu could not win a set and were therefore eliminated after the preliminary round. After the Olympic tournament, they completed the Guarujá Open before they parted ways.
