Emanuel Georg Holzach
Emanuel Georg Holzach (* 1794 ; † 1844 ) was a Swiss entrepreneur and judge.
Life
Emanuel Georg Holzach, son of pastor Johann Georg Holzach and the younger brother of the silk ribbon manufacturer Friedrich Holzach , became a partner in a quinçailles shop on Eisengasse in Basel (Christ, Ronus and Holzach). From 1828 he was superior and 1830-1834 master of the guild of spinning bettors . He was also the court lord in Grossbasel and the Council of Appeal as well as the President of the Court of Appeal.
