Friedrich Holzach
Friedrich Holzach (* 1783 in Biel ; † 1818 ) was a Swiss entrepreneur and politician.
Life
Friedrich Holzach, son of pastor Johann Georg Holzach and older brother of Emanuel Georg Holzach , became a partner in the Basel silk ribbon and trading company Dietrich and Lucas Preiswerk in 1806. He was a member of the Grand Council of the Canton of Basel and joined the Small Council, the closer government of the canton, in the year of his death. In 1811 he was adjutant to the commandant of Basel.
