Emanuel Gularte , full name Emanuel Gularte Méndez , (born September 30, 1997 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.89 meter tall defensive player Gularte has been in the squad of the Uruguayan first division club Montevideo Wanderers since the 2014/15 season . He made his debut in the Primera División on March 15, 2015 in a 2-1 home defeat by Club Atlético Atenas , when he came on for Martín Rivas in the 46th minute . In the 2014/15 season he was used twice (no goal) in the top Uruguayan league. During the 2015/16 season, he stayed in the professional team without a competitive appearance. In the 2016 season he played one game (no goal) in the Copa Sudamericana 2016 but no first division games.

National team

Gularte is a member of the Uruguayan U-18 national team. In June 2015 he was called up by the U-18 coach Alejandro Garay for a training camp in preparation for a four-nation friendly tournament that will take place in Los Angeles the following month .
