Emanuel Saldaño (born May 16, 1985 , † January 25, 2014 in San Juan ) was an Argentine cyclist .

The "El Chino" called Saldaño won the second stage in 2006 at the Vuelta de San Juan. The next year he was Argentine champion in the individual time trial of the U23 class. At the 2007 road cycling world championship in Stuttgart , he finished 46th in the time trial of the U23 class and did not finish the road race. In the 2009 season he won the overall ranking of the Giro del Sol San Juan .

On January 25, 2014, Saldaño died in a car accident at Rawson Hospital. Saldaño was driving a Peugeot Partner with cyclist Ernesto Fernández , who was also seriously injured in the accident , when he overturned on Ruta 20 near El Encon south of the city of San Juan .
