Emer Gwynne Morganna Kenny (born October 10, 1989 in Haringey , London , United Kingdom ) is a British actress and screenwriter .

Life

Emer Kenny was born in Haringey, North London, into a family of Welsh and Irish roots. She attended the North London Collegiate School (NLCS) in Edgware , Middlesex , London until 2008 . Since May 28, 2016 she is married to the British television presenter Rick Edwards . She made her acting debut in 2007 in the BBC's British television drama Coming Down the Mountain . She became known for her role as Zsa Zsa Carter in the British television series EastEnders and EastEnders: E20 . She became known to the German audience through her lead role of Penelope "Bunty" Windermere, which has been playing since the 5th season of the British television series Father Brown and which has been broadcast on ZDFneo since 2014 .
