Emil Frederiksen (born September 5, 2000 in Viborg ) is a Danish football player . He is under contract with SC Heerenveen in the Netherlands and plays on loan at SønderjyskE Fodbold . He is also a young Danish national player.

Career

society

On January 1, 2017, Emil Frederiksen moved from Viborg FF from his hometown to the Netherlands to the boarding school of SC Heerenveen . The midfielder scored twelve goals in the 2017/18 season, his first season in the A-Youth (U19), in 30 competitive games in the A-Junior Eredivisie and the A-Junior Eerste Divisie . In the following season he was used in 19 games and scored three goals. For the reserve team in the Beloften Eredivisie , Frederiksen played in 24 games and scored four goals. After nine more games for the reserves of SC Heerenveen, he returned to Denmark on loan at the end of January 2020 and joined the first division club SønderjyskE Fodbold from Haderslev ( German Hadersleben ) in the Danish-German border region by the end of the year. He played his first Superliga game on February 23, 2020 in a 2-1 defeat in the away game against FC Nordsjælland in the Superliga .

National team

In 2016 Emil Frederiksen played in two friendly matches for the U16 of the Danes , before 2016-2017 in also two games for the Danish U17 national aground. In March 2018, he played two games for Denmark's U18 team when he played in two friendly matches against the Czech Republic in Hradec Králové . As a result, Frederiksen played in the Danish U19 national team until 2019 and also played two games in the qualification for the 2019 European Championship in Armenia , which was missed.
