Emil Hayer

Emil Hayer (born October 26, 1887 in Calw , † November 22, 1977 in Schorndorf ) was a German local politician .

From 1922 to 1933 Hayer was President of the Württemberg Municipal Assembly. In the first free election of the mayor of the city of Schorndorf , he prevailed on May 25, 1948 as a candidate for the Democratic People's Party (DVP) against incumbent Gottlob Kamm . He stayed in office until 1954.
