Emil Hochreiter
Emil Hochreiter (born December 17, 1872 in Debrecen , Hungary , † August 3, 1938 in Vienna ) was an Austrian composer .
Hochreiter's father was of Bohemian origin, his mother came from Slovenia. He came to music through Hugolin Sattner . First he studied law in Vienna and taught at the Jesuit grammar school in Kalksburg , where he also directed the church choir. He composed chamber music and orchestral works. Hochreiter published numerous articles in Slovenian music magazines.
He was buried at the Hietzingen cemetery .
