Emil Pischel

Emil Pischel (born March 25, 1908 in Ostritz ; † November 6, 1989 there ) was a German painter .

After training as a blacksmith, he studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Dresden from 1925 to 1932 under Professors Richard Müller , Ferdinand Dorsch , Max Feldbauer and Richard Dreher . Study trips to North Africa, Paris (1933) and Italy (during and after his captivity in World War II) and freelance work in his hometown Ostritz followed. In 1963 a study trip to Bulgaria followed.
