Emil Robert Meinhold

Friedrich Emil Robert Meinhold (* July 17, 1824 in Schweinsburg ; † September 26, 1880 ibid) was a German manor owner and conservative politician .

Life

The son of Christian Friedrich Meinhold and his wife Johanne Christiane geb. Gütner studied law in Heidelberg and Leipzig (1841–1843). Since 1844 he was a member of the Corps Misnia Leipzig . In 1847 he took part in the assembly of German farmers and foresters. He took over the Schweinsburg manor from his father.

Meinhold worked as a trainee lawyer in Dresden and since February 20, 1858 with Marie Katharina von Nostitz-Drzewiecki (1835–1880), daughter of Hans Karl Friedrich von Nostitz-Drzewiecki and his wife Charlotte nee. von Schönberg, married. In Schweinsburg he was chairman of the agricultural association and justice of the peace. From 1860 to 1862 Meinhold was deputy member of the manor owners of the Erzgebirge district in the II. Chamber of the Saxon state parliament . From November 9, 1866 until his death, he was a manor owner by royal appointment of the I. Landtag Chamber.
