Emiliano Madriz

Emiliano Madriz (* 1800 in León (Nicaragua) ; † December 16, 1844 ibid) was Director Supremo (Head of State) of Nicaragua from September 26 to December 16, 1844 .

He was a member of the Partido Democrático (Nicaragua) .

On September 26, 1844, Director Supremo Manuel Pérez handed over his office to Emiliano Madriz. In the Guerra de Malespín in 1844, León was attacked by troops from Honduras, El Salvador and the Partido Legitimista from Granada (Nicaragua) .

On December 16, 1844, Emiliano Madriz was murdered by the invading forces.
