Emiliano Romero , full name Emiliano Romero Clavijo , (born September 30, 1992 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

"Nano" Romero, who is 1.78 meters tall according to the club, or 1.80 meters according to other sources, comes from the youth teams of the Uruguayan club Juventud . He made his professional football debut in 2010. In the 2012/13 season he played 26 first division games (no goal). For the 2013/14 season, the statistics show 17 games with Romero's participation in the Primera División . In doing so, he scored a hit. In the 2014/15 season he was used 28 times (no goal) in the top Uruguayan league with the Las Piedras- based club. This was followed by 13 more premier league appearances (no goal) and four (no goal) in the 2015 Copa Sudamericana in Apertura 2015 . In mid-January 2016, the Argentine club Atlético Rafaela loaned him . So far (as of February 21, 2017) he has played twelve first division matches (no goal) and one game (no goal) in the Copa Argentina .
