Emilija Kokić (born May 10, 1968 in Zadar , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a Croatian pop and pop singer .

Kokić represented Yugoslavia as the lead singer of the group Riva at the Grand Prix Eurovision de la Chanson in 1989 and won with the title Rock Me . After Riva broke up in 1991, she began a solo career. Since 1994 she has recorded 5 albums.

In 2001 Kokić took part in the Croatian preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest in a duet with singer Al Turner . The country song Ljepota , the chorus of which was performed in English, took second place behind the winner Vanna . In 2003 she tried again: With Zena od pepela she landed in the second semi-final of the preliminary decision on rank seven and was eliminated early. Things went better in 2008 when Kokić again entered the semi-finals and qualified for the final. There she finished sixth with Andjeo . In 2011 Kokić appeared out of competition in the preliminary round and sang Rock Me . She was also part of the expert jury.
