Emilio Dutra e Melo

Emilio Renato Dutra e Melo (born May 12, 1955 ) is a Brazilian archer .

Dutra e Melo competed in four Olympic Games . He achieved his best placement with his first participation in 1980 in Moscow , where he was 27th in the individual. At the 1984 , 1988 and 1992 games in Los Angeles , Seoul and Barcelona , he was only able to place in the second half of the field; he was 44th, 43rd and 49th.

Dutra e Melo was 14-time Brazilian outdoor champion, represented Brazil at seven world championships and just as many continental competitions from 1974 to 1991; five times he took part in the Pan American Games . He later worked as the national archery coach.
