Emilio Kauderer

Emilio Kauderer is an Argentine musician and composer of film music .

Life

Emilio Kauderer was born in Argentina. He learned to play the piano and studied composition and conducting at the Moscow Conservatory . After his return to Argentina his chamber music works were performed by the Camerata Bariloche ; His quintet "Danzón" received the Yamaha Promusica Prize in 1987. His First Symphony was performed in both Argentina and Honduras.

In 1980 Kauderer began working for the cinema, his first film music was for La Discoteca del amor . He has since worked for both Argentine and international cinema and has also composed music for various television series. His musical "Paquito's Christmas" was played at the Pasadena Civic Center in Los Angeles for nine years at Christmas time.

2001 Kauderer received a scholarship from the "Sundance Institute"

In 2018 he was appointed to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences , which awards the Oscars every year.
