Death in the eyes is a Slovenian action film directed by Vinci Vogue Anžlovar from the year 1992 . It is the first full-length feature film with the British actress Claire Forlani , which, however, failed with audiences and critics alike. The shooting took place in Croatia and lasted eleven weeks.

The pretty Romanian gypsy Katarina, a crafty criminal, tries to rob business people by pretending to be a call girl . One day she happened to witness how a well-known politician was brutally murdered. She soon falls in love with the CIA agent Harry, who leads the investigation into the murder case, and offers him a hiding place among the gypsies, as Harry himself is now a target of killers.
