Claire Forlani
Claire Antonia Forlani (born December 17, 1971 in Twickenham ) is a British actress .
Life
Forlani, the daughter of a British woman and an Italian , began studying dance and drama at the Arts Educational School in London at the age of eleven . During her six years of study, she also gained theater experience. In 1991 Forlani got his first TV experience in the British TV series Press Gang and Shrinks as well as in the television production Death in the Eyes .
In 1993, Forlani's parents decided to move to San Francisco to better promote their daughter's career. She got her first role in an American production in 1993 in the TV miniseries John F. Kennedy - Wilde Jugend (JFK: Reckless Youth) before she was allowed to appear in the 1994 movie Police Academy 7 - Mission in Moscow . Some supporting roles in series and films followed, such as B. 1996 in The Rock before she got her first lead role in Garage Sale , an independent film .
Forlani only made her breakthrough in 1998 with the film Rendezvous with Joe Black , which earned her a nomination for the Saturn Award . In 2006 she was part of the third season cast of CSI: NY .
On June 8, 2007 Forlani married the actor Dougray Scott at her parents' house in Pievebovigliana, Italy .
