Reviews
“The fascination of a Jackie Chan film was based on the knowledge that there was no net or false bottom. [...] However, it is incomprehensible why, after the disappointing ' The Tuxedo ', for the second time superhuman abilities have to be used as an excuse for the fact that Jackie has recently been hanging on to wires in aerial acrobatics. [...] The tired stunts could have been handled if Jackie's comedic talent had been properly staged. But even the laughs are not due to him, but to that of the wildly grimacing Lee Evans. So only Chan's charm remains, and he alone doesn't wear a film. Conclusion: Uninspired B-movie in which Kung Fu comedian Jackie Chan is beaten below value. "
“In the so-called prime, the Chinese all-round artist Jackie Chan can still perform something for 99 percent of all US action stars. And that is what he does in this international cast, full of effects, big budget adventure comedy made in China. [...] Conclusion: Action with wit: a good mix. "
"Unfinished-looking action film full of logical breaks that offers neither convincing effects nor impressive stunts, but merely presents a buddy movie full of silliness."
