Edison Chen
Edison Chen (born October 7, 1980 in Vancouver , Canada ; actually Chen Guanxi , 陳冠希) is a Sino-Canadian actor and singer.
Chen speaks four languages : English , Japanese , Cantonese, and Standard Chinese . When he was 19, he started acting and singing. In 2000 he played his first leading role in Gen-Y-Cops . He also has a contract with the music company EEG-Musik Plus. He made his Hollywood debut with The Curse - The Grudge 2 .
Edison Chen invested Hong Kong dollars 10 million in his newly formed company, Clot Media Division . Chen is the company's CEO; Partners are DJ Tommy, Hanjin and Lin Chienyueh. Clot Media Division will produce feature films, commercials and music albums.
On February 21, 2008, he announced that he was retiring from the Hong Kong entertainment industry for an indefinite period due to a photo scandal in which private sex pictures of himself and other actresses (including Gillian Chung , Cecilia Cheung and Bobo Chan ) were published.
