Emily Perry
Emily Perry (born June 28, 1907 in Torquay , England , † February 19, 2008 in Twickenham , Middlesex , England) was a British actress .
Life
Perry is best known to German television viewers for her long-term role as Madge Allsop , Dame Edna Everage's mute “bridesmaid”. She was already 80 years old when she took on this engagement. Perry ran a children's dance school, The Patricia Perry Academy of Dancing , for 25 years . As an actress, she only appeared on the Dame Edna Show, with one exception.
She retired from show business in 2004 and died at the age of 100.
