Emily's List (English Original Emily's Reasons Why Not ) is an American comedy series on the American network ABC , which was canceled in 2006 after only one broadcast episode. The series is based on the 2004 book Emily's Reason's Why Not by Carrie Gerlach.
action
The plot of the seven episodes revolves around the author Emily Sanders ( Heather Graham ). After numerous problems with men and the last affair of her boyfriend Reese ( Mark Valley ), Emily decides to ditch all future friends as soon as she finds five faults in them. To this end, she sets up pro and contralists for every friend.
Charisma
Due to the extremely poor ratings (6.2 million viewers), ABC discontinued the series after the pilot episode, the remaining episodes were never shown. ORF 1 showed all seven episodes of the series and began broadcasting on September 4, 2007. It achieved better values than in the US, the first episode had a market share of 18 percent.
