Emma Moerdes
Emma Moerdes , married Emma Kirch-Moerdès ( October 7, 1865 in Strasbourg - April 6, 1898 in Vienna ), was a German opera singer (soprano).
Life
Moerdes was trained by Anna Possart and Pauline Viardot-Garcia . In 1884 she made her debut in Munich as “Ännchen” in Freischütz , only to be signed to the Augsburg Theater that same year . In 1886 she went to Stuttgart, worked from 1887 to 1888 in Petersburg and from 1888 to 1891 at the royal theater in Hanover. After that she did not take on a fixed engagement, but only worked as a guest, u. a. in Berlin, Leipzig, Strasbourg, Stuttgart and also at the Ambergtheater in New York.
On January 18, 1896, she ended her stage career at the Prague State Theater with her appearance as "Rosalinde" in the bat .
On July 5, 1887, she married the actor Richard Kirch . She was also a sister of the first wife of the actor Ferdinand Bonn .
