The Emmequerung is a 1639 meter long railway tunnel of the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) near Kirchberg on the new Mattstetten – Rothrist line . The tunnel to the northwest of Burgdorf in the canton of Bern was opened in 2004. It crosses the River Emme and is also very acute angle the A1 motorway , which leads to the same place on the Emme, and the railway Burgdorf - Solothurn the BLS on the left side of the Emme.

The crossing under the river, partly in the groundwater area, required special measures for dewatering. A lid construction with compressed air water retention was used.
