Emmerich Ebenführer
Emmerich Ebenführer (born August 22, 1857 in Linz , † October 20, 1937 in Baden near Vienna ) was an Austrian teacher and local researcher .
Ebenführer was a teacher in Baden and Gumpoldskirchen from 1876 to 1911 . Most recently he held the position of director of the public school in Vöslau .
Ebenführer worked as a local researcher in his spare time. Among other things, he published popular works on the geology of Baden. He was also active in the field of popular education and created a geological school collection. Equivalent was also a fossil collector . The specimens he collected are now in various public collections, for example the Lower Austrian State Museum.
He was a full member of the Geological Society of Vienna and correspondent for the Federal Geological Institute .
