Emmerich Hirmann

Emmerich Hirmann (born November 1, 1899 in Korneuburg ; † November 15, 1995 ) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and estate administrator. From 1949 to 1964, Hirmann was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament .

After primary and secondary school, Hirmann graduated from the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences and graduated with the academic degree Dipl.-Ing. from. He did his military service between 1917 and 1918 and subsequently worked as an estate manager. Between 1922 and 1927 he was employed in the Hohenau sugar factory and between 1927 and 1933 he worked for the Melk Abbey and then again for the Hohenau sugar factory. After the Second World War he was a local councilor in Wulzeshofen between 1947 and 1950 and held several functions in agricultural cooperatives. From 1962 to 1970 he was senior curator of the state mortgage institution and was awarded the professional title of economics council. Between November 5, 1949 and November 19, 1964, Hirmann represented the ÖVP in the Lower Austrian state parliament.
