Emmitt Berry

Emmitt Berry (born October 28, 1955 ) is a retired American hammer thrower .

At the Athletics World Cup in 1977 in Düsseldorf, he was sixth.

In 1977 he became US champion. Starting for the University of Texas at El Paso , he became NCAA champion in 1976 . He set his personal best of 69.90 m on May 5, 1978 in El Paso .
