The Emperor Bay (English for Emperor Penguin Bay ) is a bay of the Brunt Ice Shelf off the coast of the East Antarctic Coatsland . It's west of Halley Station .
Participants of the expedition of the Royal Society as part of the International Geophysical Year (1957-1958) named them after the colony of emperor penguins on the ice on the bay's shore.
