from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The endocervical hyperplasia is occurring especially in guinea pigs disease of the cervix caused by the increase of glandular thickening of the mucosa ( endocervix leads). The disease is often associated with rete ovarii cysts , but the causal relationship has not yet been clarified. Clinically, the disease can be accompanied by hair loss on the trunk. The enlargement of the cervix can lead to swelling of the vulva and a build-up of mucus in the vagina. The diagnosis is made by sonography . Therapy consists of removing the ovaries , fallopian tubes and the uterus ( ovariohysterectomy ).
