Philipp Schnabl (born August 21, 1986 ) is an Austrian soccer player .

Career

Schnabl started his career at TuS Ardning . In February 2000 he switched to ATV Irdning . For the 2001/02 season he came to the academy of SK Sturm Graz . From the 2004/05 season he was used for the amateurs of Graz. In January 2005 he returned to Irdning, who was playing in the fifth-class league at the time. In 2006 he was able to move up to the national league with the club as a master of the Oberliga Nord , Schnabl contributed 16 goals in 26 games to the championship title.

For the 2006/07 season he moved to the regional division SV Bad Aussee . With Bad Aussee he rose to the second division at the end of the season . He made his debut in the second division in August 2007 when he came on as a substitute for Emidio Wellington on the second match day of the 2007/08 season against FC Kärnten in the 74th minute . He scored his first goal in the second division in October 2007 in a 3-1 defeat against Carinthia. By the end of the season he came to 18 second division appearances; Bad Aussee rose after only one season as bottom of the table back in the regional league.

Then Schnabl returned to the regional league club Irdning for the 2008/09 season. For Irdning he completed 99 national league games in the following four seasons, in which he scored 31 goals. In 2012 the club rose again to the league. From the 2012/13 season onwards, Schnabl was only a stand-by player at Irdning and played a league role in the 2012/13 and 2014/15 seasons. In January 2016, he moved to league competitor ASV Bad Mitterndorf . For Bad Mitterndorf he played nine games in the fifth highest division.

For the 2016/17 season he moved to the sixth class USV Eggersdorf . In a year and a half at Eggersdorf, he made 25 appearances in the minor league and scored nine goals. He left the club during the winter break of the 2017/18 season. After a half-season without a club, Schnabl moved to the seventh-class SV Aigen / Ennstal for the 2018/19 season . For Aigen, he played twelve games in the regional league until August 2019 .
