The Endurance Reef is a rocky reef in Marguerite Bay off the Fallières coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . It is eight miles west of Red Rock Ridge .
The HMS Endurance , who gave the reef its name, ran into a rock 2 m deep on this reef in February 1972. During measurements with dinghies of the HMS Endurance in February 1973 it was found that there are further reef rocks in this area up to a distance of 1.5 km south-southwest of that rock.
